Finact is building a people system for a fast growing, AI native consulting business operating across the UAE and India. The HR Manager will own the core people agenda as the team scales, with immediate focus on hiring quality, retention, performance management, career ladders, manager discipline, compensation processes and culture. This is not an administrative HR role. The person will help convert Finact from a founder led organisation into a professionally managed firm where roles, goals, feedback, progression and accountability are clear.

What you'll do

  • 1. Build and execute the annual manpower plan across Dubai and India, linking every hire to approved business demand, capability requirements and productivity targets.
  • 2. Own end to end recruitment for consulting, tax, audit, accounting, technology, research, sales and support roles, including sourcing strategy, assessment process, offer management and joining conversion.
  • 3. Design and operate structured onboarding, probation reviews, role scorecards, career ladders and competency frameworks so employees understand what good performance and progression look like.
  • 4. Implement a disciplined performance management process including monthly one to ones, quarterly reviews, goal setting, manager feedback and documented development actions.
  • 5. Build retention and engagement mechanisms for the India delivery centre, including career conversations, learning plans, recognition, succession mapping and early warning indicators for attrition risk.
  • 6. Support leadership in compensation benchmarking, salary bands, annual increments, performance bonuses, profit share and long term incentive administration with strong confidentiality and control.
  • 7. Create HR dashboards covering headcount, hiring funnel, time to hire, attrition, absenteeism, performance distribution, training, utilisation and people cost for monthly management review.
  • 8. Standardise HR policies, employee documentation, grievance handling, attendance, leave, conduct and compliance processes across locations while coordinating with specialist legal or payroll advisors where required.
  • 9. Partner with functional heads to identify capability gaps, build learning plans and ensure new managers are equipped to lead teams rather than rely on founders for day to day people decisions.
  • 10. Use HR technology and AI enabled tools responsibly for sourcing, screening support, employee queries, documentation and analytics while protecting employee data and preserving human judgement in people decisions.

What we're looking for

  • 4 to 5 years of broad HR experience, preferably in consulting, professional services, technology, finance, shared services or another high growth knowledge business. Experience supporting multi location teams or an India delivery centre will be strongly preferred.
  • Technical Skills
  • 1. End to end recruitment and workforce planning across professional and specialist roles.
  • 2. Performance management, competency frameworks, career ladders and talent reviews.
  • 3. Compensation benchmarking, salary bands, bonus administration and people cost analysis.
  • 4. HR analytics and dashboarding using Excel, HRMS or business intelligence tools.
  • 5. Working knowledge of Indian employment practices and the ability to coordinate UAE employment matters with local advisors.
  • 6. Comfort using HRMS, ATS, workflow automation and AI enabled productivity tools.
  • Preferred Skills
  • 1. Experience scaling a team from an early stage into a more structured organisation.
  • 2. Exposure to employee engagement and retention programmes for knowledge professionals.
  • 3. Experience working directly with founders, partners or business heads.
  • 4. Ability to write clear policies, role scorecards, review templates and management reports.
