The Head of Delivery will own the complete client delivery engine across Finact, covering managed accounting operations, Virtual CFO and finance transformation, Corporate Tax, VAT, Transfer Pricing, Audit and IFRS support, corporate services and related advisory work for UAE and India clients. The role exists to remove founders from routine delivery, create one operating rhythm across service lines, and ensure that growth does not compromise technical quality, client experience, deadlines or margins. The person will lead a two hub model where India performs most production and Dubai retains client accountability, professional judgement and sign off where required.

This role requires an operator with strong professional services judgement, not only a subject matter specialist. The ideal candidate can see across accounting, tax, audit and advisory workflows, create discipline without bureaucracy, challenge weak delivery practices and build managers who can run portfolios independently.

What you'll do

  • 1. Own end to end delivery performance across all client service lines, with clear accountability for quality, timeliness, client experience, utilisation, gross contribution and resolution of escalated delivery risks.
  • 2. Build and run the operating model linking Dubai client owners and reviewers with India production teams, ensuring every engagement has a defined owner, scope, reviewer, timeline, capacity plan and escalation path.
  • 3. Establish common delivery governance including weekly capacity reviews, deadline calendars, work in progress ageing, SLA dashboards, client health, rework, error rates and overdue actions across practices.
  • 4. Partner with practice leads to standardise methodologies, SOPs, templates, reviewer checklists and quality gates while preserving specialist professional judgement in tax, audit, reporting and advisory matters.
  • 5. Create portfolio level resource planning so work is allocated based on skill, complexity and capacity, and ensure hiring requests are supported by demand and productivity evidence rather than calendar based headcount growth.
  • 6. Lead major client escalations and recovery plans, ensuring root causes are addressed in process, staffing, scope, data quality or client governance rather than solved repeatedly by founder intervention.
  • 7. Drive productisation and automation of recurring delivery, working with technology teams to move document collection, data validation, reconciliations, reporting, compliance workflows and routine preparation toward AI native execution with human review at judgement points.
  • 8. Own delivery readiness for new service lines and new markets, ensuring Finact does not sell work before methodology, capacity, local requirements, quality controls and responsible leadership are in place.
  • 9. Develop managers and future practice heads, set clear decision rights, review leadership performance and build a culture of ownership where senior people solve problems without unnecessary escalation.
  • 10. Work with finance and leadership on engagement economics, pricing feedback, scope control, change orders, write offs and margin improvement while never trading professional standards, confidentiality or client trust for short term revenue.

What we're looking for

  • CA, ACCA, CPA or an equivalent professional qualification is strongly preferred. A senior finance, operations or professional services leader with exceptional multi service delivery experience may also be considered.
  • 10 to 15 years of relevant experience, including substantial leadership responsibility in a consulting, accounting, audit, tax, shared services or professional services environment. Experience managing cross border or offshore delivery teams is highly desirable.
  • Technical Skills:
  • 1. Multi service delivery management, portfolio governance and capacity planning.
  • 2. Strong understanding of accounting, financial reporting, tax, audit and advisory engagement lifecycles.
  • 3. Quality management, SOP design, reviewer frameworks and root cause analysis.
  • 4. Commercial understanding of engagement economics, utilisation, WIP, scope control and margin.
  • 5. Ability to use CRM, project management, ERP, workflow and dashboard tools for delivery control.
  • 6. Strong appreciation of data security, confidentiality, professional standards and AI governance.
  • Preferred Skills:
  • 1. Experience building or scaling an India based delivery centre supporting international clients.
  • 2. Big 4, mid tier or high growth professional services leadership exposure.
  • 3. Experience implementing automation or technology enabled service delivery.
  • 4. Proven ability to reduce founder dependency and build accountable managers or practice leads.
