Finact is looking for a Functional Consultant with hands-on experience in implementing end-to-end ERP and business management systems for growing and mid-sized businesses.

The candidate should have experience understanding a client's complete business processes and implementing integrated ERP solutions covering areas such as CRM, Finance & Accounts, HRMS, Payroll, Procurement, Sales, Inventory, Projects, Operations, workflows and management reporting.

The person should be comfortable working across platforms such as Zoho, Odoo, SAP Business One, Microsoft Dynamics or similar ERP suites and should understand that the right solution depends on the client's business requirements rather than on a particular software product.

The role will involve working directly with clients to understand how their business operates, identify process gaps, design future-state workflows, configure the ERP solution and coordinate implementation through to successful go-live.

4–6 years of hands-on experience in ERP and business systems implementation, preferably in a consulting, ERP implementation partner or business transformation environment. The candidate should have experience implementing end-to-end ERP solutions across multiple business functions, not only Finance. Exposure should ideally include CRM, Sales, Procurement, Inventory, Finance & Accounts, HRMS, Payroll, Projects, workflows and management reporting. Experience with platforms such as Zoho, Odoo, SAP Business One, Microsoft Dynamics or similar integrated ERP suites is preferred.

What you'll do

  • Business Process Understanding and Requirement Gathering
  • Conduct detailed discussions and workshops with clients to understand their complete business processes across sales, CRM, finance, HR, procurement, inventory, operations, projects and other relevant functions.
  • ERP Solution Design
  • Translate business requirements into an integrated ERP solution covering the relevant functional modules and design the future-state processes, workflows, approval structures and information flows.
  • End-to-End ERP Implementation
  • Manage functional implementation of ERP platforms such as Zoho, Odoo, SAP Business One, Microsoft Dynamics or similar solutions from requirement gathering through configuration, testing, training and go-live.
  • Cross-Functional Module Implementation
  • Configure and implement modules including, depending on the client's requirements:
  • - CRM and lead management
  • - Sales and quotation management
  • - Finance and accounting
  • - Procurement and vendor management
  • - Inventory and warehouse management
  • - HRMS and employee lifecycle
  • - Payroll
  • - Projects and timesheets
  • - Customer service
  • - Workflow and approval management
  • - Management dashboards and reporting
  • Process Improvement and Automation
  • Identify manual, repetitive or inefficient processes and redesign them using ERP workflows, automation, integrations and AI-enabled tools wherever appropriate.
  • System Configuration and Functional Setup
  • Configure masters, workflows, approval hierarchies, user roles, business rules, transaction processes, reporting structures and other functional components of the selected ERP.
  • Integration Requirements
  • Identify integration requirements between different ERP modules and external systems such as banking platforms, payment gateways, e-commerce systems, document management tools, payroll platforms and other third-party applications.
