We are looking for a Chartered Accountant with around 1–2 years of post-qualification experience to join our Noida team supporting the UAE Corporate Tax and Transfer Pricing practice.
The role will involve supporting the Dubai-based Corporate Tax Practice Head on UAE and international client assignments across Corporate Tax compliance, advisory, Free Zone and QFZP assessments, Transfer Pricing documentation, benchmarking and technical research.
This is primarily a technical delivery role. The candidate will be expected to prepare high-quality analyses, working papers and client deliverables, coordinate assignments and support the Practice Head on execution and review.
Prior UAE Corporate Tax experience is preferred but not mandatory. Candidates with a strong background in Corporate Tax, Transfer Pricing, International Tax or Direct Tax and a willingness to build UAE tax expertise will also be considered.
The ideal candidate should be technically strong in IFRS, structured in approach, and confident in handling consolidation work. We need someone who can manage demanding reporting assignments with accuracy and can contribute to building a high quality reporting advisory practice.
2 to 3 years of relevant experience in financial reporting, accounting advisory, controllership support, or audit with strong exposure to IFRS based financial statements and consolidation.
What you'll do
- 1. Prepare and review standalone and consolidated financial statements in line with IFRS and applicable reporting requirements.
- 2. Handle consolidation workings including intercompany eliminations, group adjustments, minority interest, and related disclosures.
- 3. Support month end, quarter end, and year end reporting requirements for clients including group reporting packs and board level summaries.
- 4. Analyse ledger data, reconciliations, disclosures, and reporting packs to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- 5. Support technical accounting research, position papers, and treatment documentation under IFRS.
- 6. Coordinate with client finance teams, auditors, and internal stakeholders on reporting deliverables and closure of review comments.
- 7. Build and improve reporting templates, close checklists, consolidation models, and standard review processes.
- 8. Identify reporting gaps, inconsistencies, and data quality issues and drive closure.
What we're looking for
- Technical Skills:
- 1. Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial statement disclosure requirements.
- 2. Good hands on experience in consolidation including intercompany eliminations, group adjustments, and disclosure support.
- 3. Strong understanding of reporting packs, schedules, reconciliations, and close processes.
- 4. Ability to research and document technical accounting positions under IFRS.
- 5. Strong Excel skills and comfort handling reporting models and large datasets.
- Preferred Skills:
- 1. Exposure to UAE reporting environment or cross border reporting assignments.
