We are a fast growing UAE consulting company looking for an Audit and Assurance professional who can move beyond the old audit approach and bring a strong data driven mindset to client engagements. We need someone who is very good at analysing data, identifying patterns, spotting anomalies, understanding business processes, and generating sharper insights for clients. The role suits a professional who combines accounting and assurance fundamentals with data analytics capability and curiosity.

The ideal candidate should have a strong analytical mindset and should be comfortable working with data, not just checklists. We need someone who can understand the story behind numbers, ask the right questions, and contribute to a modern, insight led audit approach in an AI enabled consulting environment.

2 to 3 years of relevant experience in audit and assurance in consulting firms, CA firms, or professional services environments. Experience in data analytics, process reviews, internal controls, or business analysis will be a strong advantage.

What you'll do

  • 1. Execute audit and assurance assignments with a strong focus on data analysis, risk identification, and business insight generation.
  • 2. Analyse large volumes of transactional and ledger data to identify anomalies, trends, exceptions, control gaps, and unusual movements.
  • 3. Use spreadsheets, analytics tools, and structured testing approaches to improve audit quality and efficiency.
  • 4. Design and perform data driven testing for revenue, expenses, journals, receivables, payables, inventory, and other key areas.
  • 5. Prepare clear working papers, issue summaries, dashboards, and observation notes based on evidence and analysis.
  • 6. Coordinate with clients for data extraction, clarifications, and closure of open items.
  • 7. Support process reviews, control reviews, and operational insight assignments in addition to core assurance work.
  • 8. Work with managers and partners to modernize audit delivery through templates, analytics, and AI enabled review support.

What we're looking for

  • Technical Skills:
  • 1. Strong understanding of audit procedures, financial statement analysis, and business processes.
  • 2. Strong Excel skills and comfort working with large datasets, pivots, reconciliations, and analytical reviews.
  • 3. Ability to identify trends, anomalies, and exceptions from accounting data.
  • 4. Good command over accounting standards and reporting logic.
  • 5. Familiarity with analytics tools, visualization tools, or AI assisted audit workflows will be an advantage.
  • Preferred Skills:
  • 1. Exposure to UAE or cross border audit engagements.
  • 2. Experience with internal controls testing, process reviews, or risk analytics.
  • 3. Curiosity to adopt AI enabled audit techniques and continuous improvement mindset.
