Audit and Assurance, Data Analytics Focus

We are a fast growing UAE consulting company looking for an Audit and Assurance professional who can move beyond the old audit approach and bring a strong data driven mindset to client engagements. We need someone who is very good at analysing data, identifying patterns, spotting anomalies, understanding business processes, and generating sharper insights for clients.

🔑 Key Responsibilities

• Execute audit and assurance assignments with a strong focus on data analysis, risk identification, and business insight generation
• Analyse large volumes of transactional and ledger data to identify anomalies, trends, exceptions, control gaps, and unusual movements
• Use spreadsheets, analytics tools, and structured testing approaches to improve audit quality and efficiency
• Design and perform data driven testing for revenue, expenses, journals, receivables, payables, and inventory
• Prepare clear working papers, issue summaries, dashboards, and observation notes
• Coordinate with clients for data extraction, clarifications, and closure of open items
• Support process reviews, control reviews, and operational insight assignments
• Work with managers and partners to modernize audit delivery through templates and analytics

👤 Qualifications & Experience

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) is mandatory
• 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in audit and assurance at consulting firms, CA firms, or professional services environments
• Experience in data analytics, process reviews, internal controls, or business analysis is a strong advantage

💻 Technical Skills

• Strong understanding of audit procedures, financial statement analysis, and business processes
• Strong Excel skills, comfort with large datasets, pivots, reconciliations, and analytical reviews
• Ability to identify trends, anomalies, and exceptions from accounting data
• Good command over accounting standards and reporting logic
• Familiarity with analytics or AI assisted audit workflows is an advantage

⭐ Preferred Skills

• Exposure to UAE or cross border audit engagements
• Experience with internal controls testing, process reviews, or risk analytics
• Curiosity to adopt AI enabled audit techniques
