Company Secretary
We are a fast growing UAE consulting company seeking a Company Secretary who can handle Indian company law matters while also acting as a strong research resource for UAE related regulatory and corporate updates. This is not only a filing role — we need someone who can track developments, interpret practical impact, and support a knowledge led compliance advisory practice.
🔑 Key Responsibilities
- Handle company secretarial compliance under the Indian Companies Act and applicable rules
- Prepare agendas, notices, board resolutions, minutes, annual filings, and statutory registers
- Support incorporation, alteration, share related documentation, and director related filings
- Coordinate ROC filings and maintain filing calendars for assigned clients
- Conduct ongoing research on UAE regulatory, governance, licensing, and compliance updates
- Track regulatory changes and prepare concise internal updates, trackers, and knowledge notes
- Review the practical impact of Indian company law and UAE regulatory developments
- Support due diligence, transaction documentation, and secretarial health checks
- Coordinate with clients, legal advisors, auditors, and internal teams
- Assist in building internal knowledge repositories and compliance trackers
👤 Qualifications & Experience
- Qualified Company Secretary (CS) is mandatory
- 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in secretarial compliance, ideally in a consulting or CS firm, legal practice, or advisory environment
- Experience in research, regulatory tracking, or preparing compliance updates is highly valuable
💻 Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of the Indian Companies Act, ROC filings, and secretarial records
- Strong research and drafting capability for regulatory updates and technical notes
- Ability to track and summarize UAE regulatory developments
- Experience in board processes, statutory registers, and governance documentation
- Strong documentation discipline and attention to detail
⭐ Preferred Skills
- Exposure to FEMA, LLP, or transaction support matters
- Experience in a client servicing or advisory role
- Familiarity with knowledge management or compliance trackers
